Usage Instructions / Application Method

The application process for Hsinda Antibacterial Powder Coating is identical to that of conventional powder coatings, requiring no special equipment or complex steps.

  1. Surface Preparation (Critical Step): The substrate must be thoroughly cleaned and pre-treated to remove all oil, grease, dirt, rust, and scale. This is typically done through a process involving degreasing, rinsing, phosphating (or chromating), and a final rinse. A clean, properly pre-treated surface is essential for optimal adhesion and performance.

  2. Application: The dry powder is applied to the grounded substrate using an electrostatic spray gun. The electrostatic charge ensures the powder particles are evenly attracted to the surface, providing a uniform coating.

  3. Curing: The coated object is transferred to a curing oven. Under the specified temperature and time profile (e.g., 180°C - 200°C for 10-15 minutes, depending on the product and substrate), the powder melts, flows, and cross-links to form a smooth, durable, and fully activated antibacterial film.

  4. Inspection & Quality Control: After cooling, the finished product should be inspected for coating uniformity, thickness, adhesion, and complete curing.
